The Context

Some brands are built to be seen. Anayam was built to be felt. A fine jewellery label working with diamonds, polki, and modern silhouettes, it needed an identity that could hold two worlds at once — the weight of centuries-old Indian craft and the lightness of contemporary luxury. The brief wasn't just to make something beautiful. It was to make something that meant something. We found that meaning in a single word, and let it lead everything else.

Brand Naming & Ideology

The logo is a conversation between two ideas — Mughal architecture and the moment of twilight. The arched form draws directly from the iconic archways of Mughal monuments, structures built to endure, to inspire, and to frame beauty. At the centre of the arch sits a radiant star — not decorative, but deliberate. It captures the precise emotional quality the brand lives in: that fleeting threshold between day and night, when light is most alive. Together, the arch and the star form an emblem that feels ancient and immediate at once. An heirloom, not a logo.

Colour Palette

The palette was built the way good jewellery is — with restraint and intention. Imperial Green, deep and grounded, recalls the richness of Mughal gardens and the lustre of emeralds. Twilight Sage, softer and warmer, captures the exact quality of light the brand is named for — that green-grey glow that settles over the sky just before dark. Ivory Mist holds it all together, a neutral that breathes and lets the other tones speak. Nothing shouts. Everything resonates.

Typography

The typographic voice was chosen to mirror the brand's dual nature — rooted yet refined. Bressay Display Regular serves as the primary face: a serif with quiet authority, drawn from the tradition of classical lettering but without the stiffness of pure historicism. Biondi Sans provides balance as the secondary typeface, clean and considered. Together they read like a conversation between a craftsman and a curator — one who knows where things come from, and one who knows where they're going.

Brand Pattern

The signature pattern reaches into the archives of Mughal miniature painting, depicting emperors presenting flowers to their queens — a gesture of devotion, of offering, of beauty given freely. It is one of the oldest love languages in Indian visual culture, and it sits at the heart of what Anayam sells: not just jewellery, but the moments that jewellery marks. The pattern doesn't decorate the brand. It narrates it.

Colour Palette

The collateral holds the same philosophy as the jewellery itself: that true luxury is in the detail, not the declaration. To hold an Anayam piece is to already feel the brand before you've opened the box.
