Delhi doesn't need an introduction. It needs a symbol. Historians have called it the graveyard of empires, a city conquered by the Mauryans, the Mughals, Timur, the Marathas, the Sikhs, and the British, and yet here it still stands. Every ruler who came to take it eventually faded, while the city endured. When Jindal Group brought ISL football back to the capital through a full rebrand of Hyderabad FC, the identity needed to carry that same weight. A club built for a city that has always known how to rise. The phoenix wasn't a design choice. It was the only honest answer.

Four colours, each earning its place. Bright Red, urgent and electric, the colour of a city that never slows down. Golden Yellow, warmth and ambition sitting side by side, the glow of something being built. Brick Red grounds it all, deeper and more deliberate, carrying the weight of history. Deep Maroon sits at the base, almost black, almost blood, the colour of a club that takes itself seriously. Together they don't just represent a football club. They represent Delhi at full volume.

Albertus Nova leads as the primary face, a typeface with classical bones and modern composure, the kind of type that feels like it was carved rather than set. Switzer comes in as the secondary voice, clean and contemporary, providing balance without competing. The two work together the way the city does, old authority meeting new energy, neither one backing down.

Delhi has always been more than a city. It is a statement. Designing for Sporting Club Delhi meant designing for that legacy, and for the generation of football fans in the capital who have been waiting for a team they can truly call their own. The phoenix on the crest isn't just a logo. It's a promise.
